The human factor at the centre.
That's the special attraction of Moto2. It's about the talent of the riders and the race strategy, about pulling together and being smart to get where you want to go, rather than just relying on the best technology.
In the premier class MotoGP, it is mainly factory teams and their prototypes that compete for victory. In Moto2, the second highest racing class in the world championship for road bikes, all motorcycles have the same engine, a 765 cc three-cylinder engine from Triumph, and there are only a few chassis models to choose from.

Ambitious drivers with the prospect of reaching the very top.
Young riders who have the goal of one day landing in the motorsport Olympus - the MotoGP. With a lot of diligence and the right race strategy, they want to achieve the best results to attract attention in the higher classes.
In Moto3, the third highest racing class in the world championship for road bikes, all motorcycles have the same engine, a 250 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine.
In 2024, a total of 13 teams will be involved in the racing action and thus in the hunt for the world championship title.

When we were nominated as one of 4 Moto2 teams for MotoE in 2019, we didn't hesitate for long. As an all-electric series on unified bikes, MotoE will be run on Energica Ego Corsa MotoE™ bikes.
From the 2023 season, Ducati will be the sole official motorcycle supplier for the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup, the electric class of the MotoGP™ World Championship.
