For many, the battery is simply one of many components in a vehicle. For us, it is our passion. Batteries should be inconspicuous, maintenance-free and when it counts, they should work perfectly. Only when they fail does their relevance become apparent, because without a battery nothing works, it is often critical to the system. This makes it all the more important to select the right battery for each application, and this is where we come in: we want to help people utilizing the best fitting source of energy, to make their ideas come true. Because not everyone who uses, installs or sells batteries can be a battery expert, but most people have to deal with many issues at once. We are completely focused on this area.
Small differences in detail with significant impact
Although most of our batteries are based on lead-acid technology, their possibilities and areas of application differ considerably. We have made it our business to know all these subtleties and how they interact. We benefit from the expertise and experience of our long-standing employees, some of whom have been working with batteries for more than 20 years.
Developing instead of replacing
Our company can also look back on some time in this industry. We entered the battery trade more or less by chance, through Heinz Keckeisen's car dealership, which also sold car batteries and laid the foundation for today's company in the 1970s. Step by step, Stefan Keckeisen continued to expand this basis: To one of the best addresses for starter and industrial batteries. It is precisely this philosophy of avoiding overly hasty growth in favour of continuous development that also forms the basis of our relationship with our employees, the manufacturers with whom we work, and our customers. What this means: extremely low fluctuation in all these areas.

That’s also why our product range covers almost the entire battery range, from button cells to supply batteries for the highest demands. As a result, you can cover even unusual customer requirements from a single source, without being limited to batteries from just one manufacturer. As a wholesaler with batteries from several, outstanding manufacturers in our range, there is less risk of operational blindness than in direct sales from the manufacturer.

Thanks to the large stock in our distribution and logistics centre conveniently located at the Memmingen motorway junction with space for 5,700 pallets (this corresponds to 255,000 batteries) and our cooperation with leading logistics partners, we can deliver our extensive product range to our customers throughout Europe within 24 to 48 hours. So you can order quickly and flexibly.
Shared knowledge is more knowledge
The more you know about batteries, their selection, maintenance and care, the more satisfied your customers are, the easier it is for you to deal with complaints and inquiries confidently. We want to share our knowledge about batteries with you; in training courses and in consultation meetings with our field or office staff and, moving forward, increasingly in our information and marketing materials.

Lead-acid batteries contain valuable raw materials that are easy to recycle. We cooperate with ECOBAT in the disposal and recycling of used batteries.

intAct, our own battery brand, offers you a real alternative to other manufacturer brands. It is not the cheapest on the market, but offers OEM quality at an excellent price. In order to achieve this across the board, we reluctantly replace manufacturers for our own brand, if it becomes necessary for quality reasons. Other people are impressed by them, too: intAct batteries are repeatedly awarded as test winners. The intAct Start Power, for example, was rated "highly recommendable" in the auto magazine 23/2017 and test winner for starter batteries.
