• Enormous starting performance + High cycle stability,

  with the proprietary Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology, Odyssey batteries offer both. Their 99.99% pure lead plates are thinner than lead alloy plates and make better use of space in the case than spiral-wound AGM batteries. Significantly more plate surface area for the chemical reaction provides significantly more power. Even at very low temperatures they deliver peak starting currents of up to 2,250 A for 5 seconds. TPPL also ensures low self-discharge, less corrosion and faster charging.

• Small and durable

  
  The Odyssey Extreme supplies mobile music systems or consumers on boats, in coaches and long-distance buses reliably in the long-term discharge range up to deep discharge. It tolerates trickle charge excellently and is therefore suitable as a buffer storage for solar and wind power systems, which supply very low or very high currents in changing weather conditions.

• Jumps in strongly when necessary

  In an emergency, it not only secures the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from its own battery charge, but also provides enough starting power to start a diesel generator, for example. At the same time, it requires significantly less space than other AGM-based battery systems with comparable performance.
