The world of motorcycle racing is constantly witnessing the birth of new talent, and one of the most promising rising stars is the young Austrian Jakob Rosenthaler. Born on May 15, 2006, this passionate racer has already attracted attention at a young age and has recorded numerous successes in various racing categories.

Early passion for motor racing:

Jakob Rosenthaler showed a fascinating affinity for motorsport at an early age. He began riding motorcycles at a young age and quickly developed a passion for racing. This early love of the sport laid the foundation for his impressive career.

Early successes in the Supermoto Grenzlandcup

In 2016, Jakob took part in the Supermoto Grenzlandcup in the 65 cc class. His talent was already evident here, as he achieved overall victory. He was able to repeat this success the following year, setting a clear sign of his promising future in motorsport.

Challenges and experiences in 2018 and 2019

The transition to higher classes brought new challenges. Rosenthaler finished second overall in the Austrian Youth Supermoto National Championship in 2018, while he took 13th place in the ADAC Mini Bike Cup - Novice Class. In 2019, however, he returned to dominant form and once again won the Austrian Youth Supermoto National Championship as well as a respectable 6th place in the ADAC Mini Bike Cup - junior class.

International recognition in the Nothern Talent Cup

In 2020, Jakob Rosenthaler ventured onto the international stage and took part in the Nothern Talent Cup. Here he placed an impressive 6th overall, underlining his skills at international level.

Highs and lows in the Red Bull Rookies Cup

Participation in the prestigious Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2021 brought new challenges. Rosenthaler finished 22nd overall, but this did not affect his ambitions. In 2022, he ventured into the Red Bull Rookies Cup again and competed in the Moto3 Junior World Championship at the same time. Here he finished 15th overall, which indicates a positive development in his racing career.

Continuity of success in the Moto3 Junior World Championship

The year 2023 marks another milestone in Jakob Rosenthaler's career. He finished 12th overall in the Moto3 Junior World Championship, once again underlining his consistent performance at the highest level.

Ongoing participation in the Red Bull Rookies Cup

At the same time, Jakob Rosenthaler continued his participation in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2023. Here he achieved 20th place overall, and his commitment and determination are unmistakable.

Outlook for the 2024 season - FIM Junior GP World Championship

In 2024, Jakob Rosenthaler will once again compete in the FIM Junior GP World Championship. In addition to his compatriot Leo Rammerstorfer, he will welcome another talented rider to his team this season. Rico Salmela from Finland will strengthen the LIQUI MOLY Husqvarna Intact GP Junior Team, which means that the team will compete with a total of three riders.
