Flags: The silent commands at the side of the track

Flags are the eyes and ears of race control. They are waved by marshals and convey important information to the drivers that can make the difference between victory and defeat, but also about safety. Do you know them all?

Die Grafik zeigt eine Schwarze Flagge.
  • Black flag: The end of the race for the driver concerned. He has to pit and is no longer allowed to start. The reason may be a serious breach of the rules or a technical problem that endangers others.
