Many of our customers have asked us how they can establish the Bluetooth connection between the Battery-Guard and the app. In this blog post, we explain the individual steps in a very simple and understandable way.
Having problems with the Bluetooth connection?
You can either watch our video or read step by step how to proceed.
This is how it works::
Register device
Open the "intAct Battery-Check" app.
If you have not yet registered a device, you will be prompted to do so.
Follow the instructions on the screen to register your device.
Add device
If you have already registered a device and want to add another one, tap on the "Devices" tab .
Select "Add device".
Enter serial number
Scan the barcode on your Battery-Guard or enter the serial number manually. You will find the serial number either on the underside of the device or on the narrow front panel.
Select battery type
Select the type of battery from the list. Lithium or lead-acid. For lead-acid, please also specify whether it is a wet battery, EFB, GEL or AGM battery.
Automatic connection
The app automatically establishes the connection to the Battery-Guard. As soon as the connection is established, the Battery-Guard is displayed in the list of devices.
