Bluetooth connection: How to easily pair your Battery-Guard with the app.

Many of our customers have asked us how they can establish the Bluetooth connection between the Battery-Guard and the app. In this blog post, we explain the individual steps in a very simple and understandable way.

This is how it works::

Register device

Open the "intAct Battery-Check" app.
If you have not yet registered a device, you will be prompted to do so.
Follow the instructions on the screen to register your device.

Add device

If you have already registered a device and want to add another one, tap on the "Devices" tab .
Select "Add device".

Enter serial number

Scan the barcode on your Battery-Guard or enter the serial number manually. You will find the serial number either on the underside of the device or on the narrow front panel.

Select battery type

Select the type of battery from the list. Lithium or lead-acid. For lead-acid, please also specify whether it is a wet battery, EFB, GEL or AGM battery

Automatic connection

The app automatically establishes the connection to the Battery-Guard. As soon as the connection is established, the Battery-Guard is displayed in the list of devices.

Important note:
Please note that you do NOT need to pair the Battery-Guard via your smartphone's Bluetooth settings.
This will not work as the Battery-Guard does not have a pairing code.
